Organic Soap

Did you know that your skin absorbs up to 60% of whatever you put on it? This holds especially true when you soap up and lather yourself in the shower becasue your skin pores are opened up by the heat of the water. One way to avoid absorbing sodium laureth sulfates and other chemical ingrediants that are irritating to your body is to use organic soap. Organic soaps usually are free from artificial fragrances, colorants or preservatives, synthetics or chemicals. Always read the label to be sure. The label should look something like this:Saponified organic coconut, organic palm & organic olive oils (w/retained glycerin), water, organic hemp oil, organic jojoba oil, salt, citric acid, vitamin E. Not animal tested. I've used organic soap before (and still do) and I can tell you that I noticed a differance in the feel of my skin not only immediatly after showering but into the next day. I believe it has something to do with the natural ability of organic oils to penetrate and moisturize the skin to a deeper level than chemically manufactured synthetic oils. Competitively priced, great for your skin and good for the environment are just some of the reasons I choose to use organic soap. You should consider swithcing if you haven't already.
